Liftopia managed to broker a deal that should have broad appeal to skiers in the West who manage to get away from their home mountains from time to time. For $350 you get two lift tickets at each of four ski areas: Alta, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, and Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. On top of that you get 50% off lift tickets from at each of these places all year and up to 25% off lodging (I suspect some blackout days exist, but still). Considering that a season pass at Jackson Hole alone costs $1240, you’d have to ski about 25 days at that resort alone to save money by buying the season pass…this lift ticket option might not be a bad deal for even some locals.
