Some Things Never Change: Bikes & Cars in 1948

Thank god police are there to drag them out from under my bumper, otherwise I might have to get out and see what happened. I suspect this Italian video from 1948 was made by Fiat’s predecessor, training all of us to leave the road to the cars. Of course, things haven’t changed much. In most major cities it’s still okay to run someone down on their bike and then drive away, as long as you “didn’t notice” you ran over and killed someone (and perhaps dragged their body half a block).
