Living in Fear of the Mystery Mountain Man

The shadowy figure who’s lived in the wilds of Southern Utah coming out of seclusion in the winters to live in vacation homes has locals worried and packing guns. In one house the fugitive cracked open a gun safe with a crowbar and carefully laid all the guns on a table but took none. At another home he pried the grips off every firearm in the place. He eats provisions, steals high end outdoor gear, drinks their booze, and sometimes trashes their homes and religious icons. The FBI will only say that “they’re working on leads,” and everyone in the area has theories on the guy from fundamentalist religious nut to “waiting for the mother ship.”
