A smart variation on speed dating, this Valentine’s Day Snowbird will be offering lift tickets for only $40 and a special “unattached” line for skiers and snowboarders on the Peruvian Express chairlift. I have a couple friends who have met their significant others on chairlift rides, and I’ve also seen several significant others get into huge fights on the slopes while I passed over them on a chairlift-usually they would be standing at the top of a rather imposing headwall. It’d be nice to meet someone on this chairlift; hopefully none of the married guys who go run into anyone they know.
