Drone Hobbyist Discovers Blood River

By Rocky Thompson on January 31st, 2012

A Texan man with a love for building remote control planes and outfitting them with surveillance cameras made a fun discovery - a river of blood running behind an enormous meatpacking plant. I know what you’re thinking, “It will attract sharks!” “I was looking at images after the flight that showed a blood red creek and was thinking, could this really be what I think it is? Can you really do that, surely not?” Well, you can do it, but it’s rather illegal. Thank you futuristic peeping Tom for finding this blood river and shutting it down. I wonder what the carp from that Texas creek would taste like?

That image is not related to the story you’ve posted about. It’s intriguing, but a deceptive and lame way to get people to read a blog entry.

Pollution in Texas? With Rick Perry on watch? Surely this can’t be true?

Is there an actual photo of the river available? It’s not much of a discovery if it’s at a meatpacking plant.

…or maybe I’m just gullible for being pulled in by what, in retrospect, is an obviously doctored image.
