How Glen Plake manages to stay relevant is a bit of a mystery. Then again, maybe not, Warren Miller is still making movies people watch, and he doesn’t even have a Mohawk that helps him stand out from the crowd. This video, Rice on Ice: Glen Plake in the Himalaya, comes to us from Backcountry Magazine, which is running a feature on Plake in their January issue. The video features first descents on several mountains in the Indian Himalayas and a soundtrack that throws back to the early days of Plake’s fame. Ski movies have come a long way since 2006.
