This combines two of my favorite things in the world: skiing and not driving. Too bad the ski train goes from the middle of nowhere to the middle of nowhere. If you happen to live in the middle of nowhere (in this case Saratoga Springs, NY), the ski train will take you on a scenic ride to North Creek where you can get in a bit of skiing at Gore Mountain before piling back into the train. The best part? No, it’s not the reasonable $30 round-trip tickets, it’s that you get to crush beers on the whole ride home.
