At first the teamwork is decidedly non-performance focused: The soft drink brand will send recycled plastic bottles in the form of PET (rPET) which Burton will use in a series of three blended, 50 percent rPET, 50 percent organic cotton Ts, although Burton already uses rPET and other recycled materials in a number of its hard goods and some of its apparel. More performance clothing will be done specifically in conjunction with Mt. Dew for the 2012-13 season.
