Shoot a Wolf, Collect $100
By Rocky Thompson on December 22nd, 2011The Montana Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife would like to give you a crisp $100 bill and a membership to their organization. How do you collect? No, they don’t want your soul, or, not exactly. They want you to send them a photo of a wolf you’ve legally killed. The quota for Montana’s wolf hunt is set at 220, and so far only 110 wolves have been taken.
“You have to encourage people to do it,” points out a member of their organization. “You can’t eat a wolf. There’s no food value.”
Hunters have been going after the more traditional/edible game like deer and elk and leaving wolves alone. A member of the National Wolf Watchers Coalition points out, “It just perpetuates the hatred that people have toward wolves…I just think it’s the wrong way.”

Sportsmen? Please! These guys are basically just dog hunters and cowards. Just how much liquid courage do you need to shoot a dog at 200 yards? Do you go home and show the picture to your little children and tell them you’re a brave commando? I’m sorry but if you can’t eat it and it’s not attacking, leave it the f* alone. Responsible hunting is great - this isn’t hunting.
