Felicity Aston Skiing Across the South Pole

Right about now Felicity Aston should be skiing up to the research station at the South Pole and asking the researchers there if she can use their shower. The British adventurer is seeking to become the first woman to ski across Antarctica alone. It’s a 70-day, 1700km trip that’s an exercise in trying not to fall into crevasses and sensory deprivation. I hope whoever is hanging out at the South Pole station is ready to make small talk with her for a few hours.
