I’ve never watched that TV show Axe Men, but it looks awful. But these axe men, 19th century Maine woodsmen, are far more interesting. In The Blood is a documentary film that shows the rare, dangerous life these guys led. See more and some of the accompanying live exhibit at In The Blood.

    Ok now, I must admit the show Axe Men is pretty amusing, I think you should give it a fair shot, Shelby the ’swamp logger’ might be one of the most amusing folks on any reality tv show. This documentary looks pretty awesome, hard to imagine moving those huge trees without modern equipment.
