Deer Gun Season

It’s deer hunting season across much of the U.S. And with unseasonably warm weather, you may be more likely to head out for some fall hikes or mountain bike rides on public land that is shared with hunters. This is a friendly reminder not to wear your antlered bike helmet or medieval deer-pelt cloak while out in the woods. Also, it’s best to avoid this 81-year-old lady’s yard if you live in Bangor since she shoots from the hip (and out of her kitchen).
