Man Caught with $60k in Stolen Arc’teryx 2012 Clothing
By Rocky Thompson on November 4th, 2011A man in Bozeman was arrested after breaking into an Arc’teryx sales rep’s garage and stealing $60k worth of 2012 gear. The police found him after the sales rep reported the theft and they found a tag from the gear in a nearby apartment complex. A canvas of the complex ended with a guy answering the door wearing brand new Arc’teryx pants with more piles of clothing in plastic bags behind him. His neighbors said he’d come home and asked them to form a chain to help hand all the goods through his window. He’d reportedly told one of his neighbors that he acquired the boxes by “slicing open a window,” and that he was planning on selling them on eBay.
So if you see any 2012 Arc’teryx gear on eBay that his neighbors kept, you might use this to negotiate a more fair price.
Thanks Rob
