A California man paddles his kayak alongside a couple blue whales and then he dives in to take a quick swim with them. He says the whales had been about 3-5 miles off shore for a few days, and after checking the local whale watching boat counts for a few days he paddled out. Looks like it paid off. These things can be up to 100 feet long and are the largest animal on earth.
