The Chicago Marathon was last weekend. Perhaps you had some friends that ran it. Was one of them this 38-week-pregnant woman? She signed up for the race in February and then found out she was pregnant a few days later. Her doctor gave her permission to run the first half of the race. So she walked the second half of it. And then promptly gave birth after finishing. She said, “Everybody just kind of stared as I’m running by.” I suspect they also stared as she went into labor at the finish line.
