Snowboarding in The People’s Republic of China

By Rocky Thompson on December 3rd, 2010

This weekend, The People’s Republic of China will host their first major snowboarding event. Let’s hope they enjoy it, because we’re counting on them to buy all the crap the U.S. sells so that we can get back some of the money they’ve loaned us so that we could perpetuate our lifestyle of buying crap from other countries. Top prize is $100,000, and Oakley funded the event so they could name it after Shaun White. Maybe the Chinese will spare him when they eventually gain control of the U.S.

If you buy a Burton board in China, can you buy it direct (since many are made there now) or do you import it through the U.S.?

Lots of U.S. manufacturers making better boards and skis. Easy problem to solve.
