The Cove for 2011

By Rocky Thompson on September 7th, 2010

Looks like the Sea Sheppard Conservation Society may be doing some good after all. The society and everyone their PR brigade could drum up converged on Taiji, Japan over the weekend for the annual dolphin slaughter made famous in the Oscar-winning documentary, The Cove. The animals are usually herded into the cove where a few of the nicest looking ones are picked out and sold to Sea World, and then the rest are killed. This year the dolphins were pushed into the cove and nine were taken to be sold into showbiz, but the rest were let go.
