Wolves are back on the federally protected list and politicians in conservative states are looking for ways to connect with their constituents. One of them must watch ‘Whale Wars’. The idea is being floated that some people could continue hunting endangered wolves under the guise of research. They haven’t bothered figuring out what kind of research needs to be conducted on wolves, but I’m sure they’ll iron out the details once the carcasses start piling up.
