Rule #1 - don't jack with the bulls. Even domesticated bulls can get pretty mean. I watched a calf corner my grandfather and knock him around a bit...pretty funny when you're a kid but not to him. You jack with a buffalo...jeez, just a bit dumb. Obviously, it just wanted to be left alone. Otherwise, she'd be dead. A very, very long time ago we raised cattle.

The stick (which appears to have been thrown) is actually tossed in the air by the buffalo itself. The woman was from Utah and reported to local media here, that the stick is what provoked the animal and that it came from a passing car. Right. It had nothing to do with...I don't know...being too close! It doesn't matter what "provoked" the buffalo, like Rocky said, it aint the "Bronx zoo." Keep a safe distance from wildlife.
