Vail Resorts has bought a website that I’ve never heard of called OnTheSnow.com. Even though I’ve never heard of it, I likely get all my snow reports from this source. Other websites and iPhone apps pick up their info and aggregate it, so they reach more than their 2 million per month. They didn’t disclose how much the site sold for, but I hope it was enough that a couple ski bums never have to go to work again.
