Christy Sauer Mahon of Aspen becomes the first woman to ski all the fourteeners in Colorado, and then Lindsey Vonn announces she’ll be on the final episode of Law & Order? It’s a big day for women’s skiing. Mahon, who nailed all 54 peaks in Colorado, won’t get an Olympic medal or a shot at the legendary craft food services trucked to the set of Law & Order, but she will go down in herstory as a ski pioneer. The story of Christy’s final descent is on Stuck in the Rockies, and you can tune in to ABC (or maybe NBC?) on May 24 to see Vonn get murdered by her pimp.
