Next Year’s Season Passes Nearly On Sale

By Rocky Thompson on April 8th, 2010

The lucky folks in Colorado can buy their passes for next season beginning tomorrow for $450. The Colorado Pass covers Breck, A-Basin, and Keystone with 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek. Jackson Hole locals, meanwhile, can look forward to saving their money all summer to buy their outrageously priced season passes. It’s easy when you’re the only game in town…and everyone moved to the town exclusively for your game. Colorado makes me think the free market might be onto something.

By Colorado you mean Front Range. Down here in Durango if you buy your pass for DMR before April 24th it’s $579. Sure you get a couple free days at some other resorts, but nothing amazing. Who knows how much they’ll be after April 24th. And whatever you do, don’t complain about DMR: http://www.durangoherald.com/sections/News/2009/11/19/Durango_Mountain_Resort_pulls_critics_pass/

I love skiing in Summit County. Let’s just hope Vail resorts doesn’t end up owning everything, or our passes will be crazy expensive like the rest of the world…
