Controlled Avalanche Plans Go Awry

It seems that we’re still beating the Russians in handheld video camera technology. The Mountain World found this video of the Russian ski patrol firing a Howitzer or setting an explosive to cause a slide. You would have had a front row seat to the show if you’d been riding the chairlift up when that explosion went off.

    I guess the IOC didn’t see this video before they awarded the Russians the 2014 games…
