Trial Begins in Fox Hunting Gyrocopter Decapitation Case
By Rocky Thompson on March 15th, 2010
A British animal rights activist who would fly above fox hunts in his gyrocopter and tape them is on trial after decapitating a supporter of the fox hunt. The guy who was killed tried to stop the activist from taking off when he refueled.
The prosecutor’s description of what happened:
He was killed when his head was struck by the rear propeller blade of the gyrocopter. That gyrocopter was being driven by this defendant along the runway of Long Marston airfield in Warwickshire.
The blade of the rear propeller cleaved Mr Morse’s head from top to bottom. Unfortunately it also dramatically removed a portion of his brain and threw it away from him. Mercifully death was instantaneous.
Wow. Apparently the man who was killed hatched his plan at a nearby pub.

That’s a cool looking chopper though. That’s what probably attracted the man that got killed. I heard they get attracted to whirling sounds.
