Nimrod was the name of a king in the Old Testament, described as a might hunter. It didn’t become an insult until the 1930s, possibly due to a Bugs Bunny cartoon, but that’s disputed.

Since you are talking about a particular whiskey, one spelled whisky as we can see on the bottle, spell it whisky as on the bottle and tell your spell checker to stick it.
