Ski Resort Closed for Too Much Snow (and no, it’s not Deer Valley)
By Rocky Thompson on January 16th, 2010
A Scottish ski resort has temporarily closed since employees can’t get the mountain safely open after 73 inches of snow fell since Christmas. Sure, that’s a lot of snow to shovel out of the parking lot, but working at a resort, you’d think the one thing they would prepare for is a lot of snow. Utah gets epic storms that drop 30 inches overnight sometimes, and the best place to be when that happens is up the canyon at the resort. You get a half-day of riding in before they safely clear the road and let the crowds in. Hopefully some of the resort employees at least get to enjoy this UK storm.

The most hilarious thing about this is referring to Cairngorm as a resort…
The most hilarious thing here really is how unfounded and unresearched this article is.
A ski resort that normally is only open for a month or so in the year and will normally only have a couple of feet of snow cannot be prepared for this. With shots like this,http://www.flickr.com/photos/badastronomy/4254627068/, showing the UK as completely white and covered with snow - a nobody has seen before.
Do some research.
