Copp-Dash Inspire Award a New Grant for Climbers and Explorers

A pool of $20,000 and access to mentors at the Adventure Film Festival, Alpinist magazine, and Sender Films will be available to winners of the Copp-Dash Inspire Award. The new grant program has been created to honor the lives of Jonny Copp and Micah Dash, who died last year alongside filmmaker Wade Johnson in China. The grant will be awarded to adventurers who seek to bring back stories of their expeditions on film, in print, and in photos. Black Diamond, La Sportiva, Mountain Hardwear, and Patagonia kicked in on the project, and the American Alpine Club will be in charge of administering the grant.
