Ski biking in cowboy gear and cardboard cutouts with voiceovers is the extra ‘pizzazz’ Cheap Ski Movie needed to be surpass the formerly greatest straight-to-VHS ski movie, Ski Patrol II: Hot Dogz. It looks like a couple guys with passes to the SIA tradeshow and a handheld video camera put this together. They tracked down some ski superstars without a ton of stuff to do when the snow wasn’t flying and now they’re involved. Starring Jonny Moseley, Billy Kidd, Phil Mahre, Bode Miller, and with a guest appearance by the filmmaker formerly known as Warren Miller.
