Terrible Upcoming Ski Movie ‘Frozen’ was Shot at Snowbasin

By Rocky Thompson on January 5th, 2010

Snowbasin graciously allowed producers to shoot the terrible-looking movie Frozen on their mountain, they only asked that ‘Snowbasin’ not be mentioned anywhere in the credits. Snowbasin played it off as not wanting to be associated with the film’s unhappy ending, but it’s more likely they saw the group shooting and decided they didn’t want to be associated with this low-rent retelling of a classic horror story turned into an unspeakably bad movie. Somehow, Frozen made it into Sundance and will premier there this winter.
