Skull Found at Brighton Ski Resort Identified

By Rocky Thompson on December 15th, 2009

A skull found by hikers at Brighton Ski Resort in Utah in August has been identified. It belonged to a local man who disappeared last year. He was camping with friends in Big Cottonwood Canyon and left the site after getting into an argument. His skull was fractured, and authorities think he fell off a cliff.

A tip from a family member after the discovery appeared in the Deseret News gave investigators a starting point. They then took DNA from a tooth in the skull and put it into a DNA database of criminals. A match was found for Moffitt, who was convicted in 2003 of robbery and possessing a hoax weapon of mass destruction, and the skull was positively identified.

Kind of an odd story. What happened to the rest of his body?

What happened to the rest of the body?…varmits

BCC is well known for its genetically engineered bone-devouring varmints.

    Utahrd,

genetically engineered what??? I DO know my dog can make steak and chichen bones disapear, and deer kills ‘disapear’due to varmits; chipmunks, squirrels, mice etc all love bones for the minerals.

So many people are out of touch with what nature really does.

    Are varmits anything like varmints?

Oh yeah, and I’d like to hear more about the “hoax weapon of mass destruction.”
