Time-Lapse Videos of the Alps, Set to Beethoven

By Rocky Thompson on December 5th, 2009

Michael Rissi shot some time-lapse movies of the Alps while hanging out in Switzerland last summer. They’re sort of dreamy videos set to Beethoven’s 7th Symphony (2nd movement, of course), and they make you feel like you’ve soaked up a little culture after you watch them. Boing Boing also has the HD versions of the movies.

Thank you, this is one of my favorite pieces of music, and the photography is so beautiful it seems almost unreal.
