This movie from way back in 2006 is an account of a team that went from the lowest point on earth to the highest. They started on bikes at the Dead Sea and pedaled up to Everest Basecamp. Then they climbed to the top of Everest and slapped some high-fives. It took about 6 months. It’s a rad expedition, but I would have done it the other way around. Get one of those stunt helicopters to drop me at the top of Everest, and then just coast down to the Dead Sea on my bike. These guys did it the hard way.
