A few North Face athletes went to Brazil to run a 6-day self-supported race through the jungle. Tim Kemple tagged along to shoot some video and photos of Mike Wolfe, Nikki Kimball, and Tracy Garneau dragging themselves through the rainforest and tripping over roots. The terrain looks amazing; I would totally do this race if I could drive a golf cart or maybe one of those pocket-sized motorcycles instead of running the whole way. They have an overview video of the event and then some work with a couple of the athletes.
