A woman in Illinois was driving home in her Ford Explorer when a deer ran in front of her truck and rolled over the hood to the other side of the street. She got out and called the police who arrived but couldn’t find the deer. She still had one working headlight and was only 3 miles from home, so the police sent her on her way.
Ten minutes later and a half-mile farther down the same road, another deer jumped into the passenger side of her vehicle, damaging the right front fender and door.
Two points: 1. If you’re driving .5 miles in ten minutes, then you couldn’t have hit the deer very hard because you’d be going 3 mph. 2. How do they know it was a different deer?
Either way, this lady had to call the police again. They came out for a laugh and sent her home again. Too bad the insurance company is going to nail her for two deductibles now.

The pic is a Durango with MN plates but the deer made a nice entry, so points for that. Also, I don’t think caving in the front end of a Durango reduces the resale value much.
