Parahawking is Pretty Much What it Sounds Like

By Rocky Thompson on October 22nd, 2009

This is one of the most bizarre sports I’ve ever seen. And I once had a channel that got nothing but Japanese game shows. The Himalayan Raptor Rescue charges $150 to fly around with about 80 local birds of prey. Where do you hide when they turn on you? Nowhere, that’s where. You only option is a slow paragliding death. If I had to listen to the music they play in the video for longer than five minutes, I probably would have welcomed a slow death by raptor attack.
