Run Tellman Run: The Barefoot Cross-Country Jog
By Rocky Thompson on October 13th, 2009

Tellman Knudson left New York for on a cross-country jog that will terminate in Los Angeles. So far he’s covered about 350 miles of road, and some of that has come at an extremely slow pace. Not because he’s out of shape, but because he’s had to shimmy along walking on the roadside guardrails when the road was too rough. Yeah, no shoes makes it tough. At least he doesn’t have to worry about blisters on his heels-that can be a real killer. If successful, Tellman will be the first person to make the cross-country run without shoes. He’s running to try to raise $100 million for homeless youth. So far he has about $10k, so there’s a bit of a way to go. You can donate at his site.
