BPA Blamed for Aggressive and Hyperactive Girls

By Rocky Thompson on October 7th, 2009

Another study is blaming BPA (that stuff that was in Nalgenes, Sigg bottles, and single-use plastic bottles) for developmental problems in kids.

Perhaps most disturbingly, the strongest predictor of behavior problems was exposure to BPA in early prenatal development, when many mothers-to-be do not know they are pregnant. Virtually all of the 249 mothers in the study had significant amounts of BPA in their urine for at least one of the three tests researchers conducted.

Oh boy. A class action lawsuit could build a lot of vacation homes for lawyers on this one. All the plastic bottle companies-and especially the ones who didn’t come out and admit they had BPA in their bottles-should declare bankruptcy today and move to a non-extradition country.
