13-Year-Old Working Through the 7 Summits

By Rocky Thompson on September 4th, 2009

At 13 years old I still hadn’t convinced my parents to buy me a Nintendo, this kid from California convinced his parents that he should become the youngest person to climb the Seven Summits. Hell, it’s California; his parents probably tossed him a box of condoms and told him not to be too loud when he got home. Jordan Romero just climbed Carstensz Pyramid in Papua New Guinea, and now only Antarctica’s Mt. Vinson and Everest remain. Should be able to knock those off in a weekend. I say we go ahead and give him the record now.
