Brunton Flip-n-Drip Coffeemaker

By Rocky Thompson on September 1st, 2009

Coffee is one of the simplest things to make, and perhaps it’s this simplicity that breeds an insanely diverse array of needlessly complex machines to make it. Anyone with an idea of a new way to run hot water through coffee grounds can find an ear in the outdoors industry. Between coffeemakers and sporks there’s enough plastic crap made in this industry to cancel out all the good done by NADA jackets and recycled-tire shoes. The latest offender is this Brunton Flip-n-Drip. I’m sure it works wonderfully and is another fun little Brunton gadget, but unless you suffer from some kind of yet to be documented spatial metal issues, you can probably figure out how to brew coffee without it.
