Gastro Bug Slams New Zealand Ski Vacationers
By Rocky Thompson on August 17th, 2009
Hey! We’re rich! Let’s take a ski vacation to New Zealand this summer! Over 120 people were struck with a gastrointestinal bug at a New Zealand resort over the weekend making adult diapers a necessity for anyone who wanted to continue skiing. After suggesting that it might have been spread in the water supply, the PR people from Smiggin Holes Resort in New Zealand blamed their guests and staff in a backhanded way.
“All guests and staff should also ensure they also take normal hygiene precautions such as hand washing,” he said
Yeah, just don’t use the contaminated water to wash your hands. This might be the only case where only the people who never wash their hands didn’t get sick.

Smiggin’s Holes is too awesome to be in New Zealand. It’s in Australia, part of the Perisher Blue resort.
Smiggin’s even tried to get the 2010 Olympics: http://www.time.com/time/olympics2002/article/0,8599,212844,00.html
Hmm, then perhaps I’ve misjudged the tenacity of the above mentioned PR people.
