Squirrel Self Portraits

An attention hogging squirrel popped into the frame after this couple set their timer and ran back for a photo at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park, Canada. It makes for a nice Christmas card anyway.

   That happened to me once too - at exactly the same spot. I just finished a lunch raid and was all set up for my picture when a couple of GoreTex clad flatlanders crowded into my shot, laughing their heads off. Man, I wish we could carry pistols in parks up here. They weren’t laughing when I chewed through their distributor wires as the park closed. Joke’s on you - a*#holes!

   Reminds me of the days when I hiked with a stuffed squirrel. We sure took some crazy pictures together…

   I’m instantly reminded of the ever so popular “Dramatic Chipmunk” video that raged around the internet not too long ago.
