Dream Results Kayaking Trailer Worth Watching Even if You Think Kayakers are Dorks (might change your mind)

Turn down the talking heads and soak up some insane paddling in the trailer for Dream Result. I’ve always considered freestyle paddling to be on about par with ballet skiing, but these freestyle paddlers look more like park skiers. The music at the end might be a bit much, but you can’t argue with the footage from the water. If you skip the rest of the video, there’s an awesome point-of-view shot of going over the falls at about 3:18. Dream Result is due out in spring 2010.

   How come you don’t see anyone who looks like they’re older than about 35 doing this?

   What these guys are doing wasn’t thought possible when most 35+ year-olds started paddling. Add to that the skill necessary and the continuous travel, and the ranks start getting thin.

   Then subtract all the people who die trying to get there, and you have these guys.

   Dude when do you ever see 35 year olds in stoke flicks? Ski, snowboard, bike, etc…
