Easy Ways to Save the World: Chico Bags
By Rocky Thompson on August 1st, 2009
I was worried Chico Bags had blown it when I saw their Messenger Bags at Outdoor Retailer. Chico makes these small, light, packable bags that you stuff into your pocket when you’re heading to the store. Then when the teenager asks “paper or plastic?” you punch him in the face–with greenness. So I was worried that Chico thought their green brand would translate well to the urban pack market and they’d end up sullying their otherwise fine brand, but it turns out that their Messenger and Sling bags are simply slightly larger and stronger bags than their Original. The new Chico bags pack down just as small as the old ones, but they’re a little roomier and more comfortable to carry. The new Chico bags come out in a couple months.

These are very cool. When will there be a Goat-branded chico bag?
