Behind You!
By Rocky Thompson on June 15th, 2009National Geographic reminds us that the first rule of wildlife photography is to remember to look behind you. This is good advice for wildlife photographers and elderly people backing out of parking spots in Florida. I would have imagined the first rule would be something about remembering to bring your camera or take off the lens cover. This photo comes from Tim Greenleaf, who shot it in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park.

There is an elephant to the right of the truck, making me think there are more elephants over there, rather than just one elephant to the right. Why take a picture of only one elephant when you can take a plethora of photos of pachyderms.
