Eating Raw Scorpions, Oven-Baked (not fried!) Tarantula and Other Foul New Trail Foods

Backpacker tries out a bunch of gnarls trail food. Protein-rich bugs, raw scorpions, an oven-baked tarantula, and coffee brewed from beans that have passed through some rodent’s digestive tract. It’s disgusting, but I have to wonder what it’d be like to fill up on raw scorpions. Probably kind of like filling up on Chicken McNuggets.

    Well, I guess its good to know what is edible, but I think I’ll stick to the food I make/take on hikes. I will make sure my kids watch this - they’ll never complain if their dinner didn’t turn out just right, lol.
