17-Year-Old on Everest Summit with Backcountry.com Sickbird Belt Buckle

By Rocky Thompson on June 5th, 2009

In general I avoid Everest news. There are so many volleyball games being played at base camp and grandmothers summitting that I don’t care to follow it. But this one is too good to pass up (plus it helps promote Backcountry.com and someone out there has to sign my checks). Seventeen-year-old Johnny Collinson of Utah hit the summit, and he did it while wearing his 4-pound Sickbird Belt Buckle that he won in a Backcountry.com-sponsored Freeskiing World Tour.

Wow! The kid scores 4 pounds of Backcountry.com swag and hauls it to the summit of Everest so he can pose for a picture? What a tool.

That buckle is the most badass trophy on planet Earth. What a rocker!

Looks like he has a little Captain in him…or is that the lack of oxygen to the brain.

Yeah nothing “toolish” like climbing Everest when you’re 17. What a douche–he should have spent his time mindlessly mocking others for no reason whatsoever. Probably has accomplished more with that one climb than SaltTears has in his 47 years. Sad.

    hahahahhahahahah…..saltyvagina…(falls off chair laughing).
