flaik GPS for Ski Resort Customers

By Rocky Thompson on May 4th, 2009

If I was in high school I would be pointing out the Big Brother ski resort pushing into our lives with the flaik GPS tech. The plan is to hand these things out to kids in ski schools and then eventually everyone on the mountain so that they can track every skier on the hill. The resort would be able to find lost skiers or people who sneak out of bounds, and after a day on the hill skiers could look at their vert, top speed, air time, and how much time they spent in the slopeside bar. Kids will still get lost after removing their flaik GPS and giving them to their lame friend to “hold onto” while they duck ropes. Also, most people will be depressed when they find out how few runs they skied after paying $100 for a lift ticket. Besides, can’t they already do this with people’s cell phones?

Just another reason not to go to ski resorts.
