Colorado Copies Utah’s Ski License Plates

By Rocky Thompson on May 4th, 2009

It’s so sad. Utah already has better snow, smaller crowds, and fewer over-developed resorts than Colorado and now the 2nd place ski state is copying Utah’s license plates. I actually liked Colorado’s old plain-Jane green-and-white mountainscape. At least their lift tickets are still cheaper than Utah’s.

At least with Colorados plate you don’t have to put a sticker of a snowboarder over the skier. Props to Colorado for recognizing the other half of the snowriding population.

you can still get the good ol’ green ‘n’ white plates, rocky, (along with dozens of other specialized, high-dollar ‘vanity’ plates like the new ski edition) in the best western ski state.
