I’d wondered why Tron’s helmet was so bulky—it’s because in the future our helmets will serve the dual purposes of protecting our brains and charging iPods. The Wind-Helmet concept would use turbines inside the helmet’s shell to generate power to charge small electronics. You’d likely have to use that power to run a small fan mounted to the inside of the bulbous helmet so you could try to stay cool in this ventless wonder.
