I understand retro paintjobs and retro logos. It’s a design thing, but in some places ‘retro’ wouldn’t make sense—a retro car phone that comes with a shoulder strap for example. Sigg has decided that our water bottles lack a certain old-world-style charm and must be too easy to open, which is why they’ll begin selling this Sigg Retro Heritage Bottle for $25. Of course, I’ll buy one, but I’ll probably just keep it in the cup holder of my 1970s Citroen
